Working with all existing furniture, art and decor I redesigned and styled the room layout to create more balance and harmony. I relocated the console table/lights from the side wall to sit behind the couch and adjusted the furniture placement to be more centred to the fireplace and moved the area rug to touch/connect all the furniture. This created a much better structure and balance in the room. Moving the blue rug from the window to underneath the desk created a visual work space separation and added comfort. I switched the placement of the Owl artwork on the wall and the Horizontal Landscape artwork above the fireplace to better fit each space. The Owl’s colours and texture matched the feel of the fireplace brickwork and the Horizontal Landscape showcased better against a white wall and fit well in the space. I styled the decor to work better around the room.
